Race Day 8:30-9:30 a.m. @ The Dome

The Hour Challenge is held at The Dome. We will be staging from the northeast corner where the ping-pong tables and pickle-ball courts are usually setup.

Track Etiquette

There will be a lot of people on the track at one time. Please help keep everyone happy and safe during the race by being courteous. Faster athletes should generally run on the inside lanes and should do their best to pass on left. Be aware of those trying to pass you, and if you are passing, give a warning such as “TRACK” or “ON YOUR LEFT”.

Lap Counting

You will be running a lot of laps. There will be TV screens along the track to help you see how many laps you have run. Depending on the amount of traffic, you may not see your name every lap, but you should be able to catch it enough to know where you are. To help us get all of your important timing data, it is imperative that you wear your bib on the front of your torso as indicated here in the photo.

Please only wear your bib/chip on the track during the event, and not during your warmup or cool-down. If you stop running before the hour is up and want to cool down, please remove your bib before going back out on the track. This will go a long way toward helping the timers get accurate lap counts and times for everyone.
