The course drops down N St. to scenic Westchester Lagoon, where you head east along the Chester Creek green belt to University Lake and back to the finish and post event fun!
Depending on local Covid-19 mandates, insurance requirements, we will make a determination of start format 2 weeks prior to the event. We may use waves of 100 to 200 every 2 minutes or a mass start event. If waves are used you will be roughly seeded into the waves by predicted finish time, and all starters will depart within 10 minutes of the main event start time for which you sign up.
Keeping Us Safe
We have developed a Covid-19 Safety and Mitigation plan in accordance with state and local regulations as well as our sanctioning body, USA Track & Field. Our full, detailed plan will be posted ahead of the event. This plan may evolve depending on state, local, and insurance provider policies.
First and foremost, your safety and that of our staff and volunteers is front of mind for us. There are 4 primary drivers of our required COVID-19 mitigation plan that allow us to host this event.
- Self screening for illness (staff and athletes)
- Appropriate social distance
- Minimizing contact between athletes and athletes and event staff.
We know we can have a great time and be safe if we all follow these guidelines
Currently our insurance requires all participants, staff, and volunteers to wear masks when at the event venue regardless of local mandates. You can remove you mask when actively running to warm up or when on course. It is advised to bring a mask with you during the event in case you cannot maintain 6-10 feet of space between yourself and others, or to put on at aid stations. We thank you for helping us protect our community and comply with our insurance provider.
Temperature checks, verifying a temperature of less than 100.4 on event day will be performed prior to entering the start corral. This procedure is required by our insurance. We will notify you if it changes.
