The story of Mount Marathon is full of challenge, tradition, and is quintessentially Alaskan. This year, we’re stoked to team up with Arc’teryx to give away one entry and a race kit to the 2026 race on July 4th, and we’re looking beyond finish times. Do you know someone who has overcome barriers to running? Someone who represents an underrepresented community? Someone whose journey to the start line means something bigger? We want to hear those stories! Whether it’s their first race or a long-awaited return, we’re looking for a story that reflects the unique spirit of the Alaskan community.
