Kids Running Parents Group

$240 – 16 weeks

This Group Meets:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
@ Abbott Loop Community Park

This 8 or 16 week program will either give parents an opportunity to get a workout in while children are at Kids Running or lead up to the Anchorage Run Fest depending on which group you choose. All ability levels are encouraged to join. This program meets at the same time as evening Kids Running at Abbott Loop Community Park. What better way to set an example for your kids than going to running practice at the same time.

By training with expert coaches, the Raven Run Club will get you to the finish line with a fun and supportive group atmosphere. One of the best parts of the program is you! Having inspired and motivated participants to encourage each other makes getting out on the toughest day more fun!

We think what makes Raven Run Club fun is the people you share it with, being in a group, and striving to achieve a goal. Raven Run Club provides experienced coaches that will help you to help meet your goals whatever they might be. A Raven Run Club tech shirt is included in your registration!

This Group Meets:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Through the summer is the perfect time to maintain running fitness and work on form with our great coaches. Whether you participate in track or cross-country during the school year and are looking to keep working through the summer or you are just getting into running; our Raven Run Club Youth program is an excellent choice. Our experienced coaches will work with you to help you achieve your goals and improve your running form and efficiency.

Registration includes 6 weeks of coaching and a Raven Run Club running t-shirt. Youth participating in Raven Run Club will also recieve a discounted entry to the Alaska Distance Classic 5k or 10k.

This year on June 3rd at our Downtown location and June 4th at our Dimond location Skinny Raven will be hosting Youth Running Day. Perfect opportunity to get new shoes for the summer months, and with a discount! Come down and join in on the fun, and win some prizes! *No practices on the week of July 3rd.*

@ The Park Strip, local tracks, and bike paths

Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.
@ Skinny Raven Sports Downtown

Do you want to join fellow ladies training for the Her Tern Half Marathon? Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. No matter what your goals are, you will be guided to success by Skinny Raven’s expert coaches.

The cost for those signed up for HTH is $125. Your training package includes HTH training program shirt from event sponsor Brooks and HTH custom insulated bottle from Nathan Hydration.  The group is limited to 150 participants and has sold out the last two years. So register early if you would like to participate. You can train with the group even if you aren’t planning on running the race. To sign up, click the “Sign Up Now” button and chose the “Training Group Only” option.

Looking for more? If you are already in the Her Tern Training Group but are wanting two workouts a week instead of just one, you can add the additional Monday session for $80.
