We are taking a break from in-person training!


Throughout this challenging year we have been lucky to hold in-person training sessions. However, with updated municipality guidance on indoor mask wearing and health concerns about rising Covid-19 case numbers, we will be putting our in-person training on hold until a future date yet to be determined. We are doing our best to find opportunity during these challenging times and are happy to announce we will be focusing on virtual individualized training plans. Stay tuned for more information, we will continue to monitor municipal guidelines and will announce new training groups as soon as we feel confident we can safely do so. What’s practice like?
Weekday workouts: Typical practice starts with showing up and running a few laps to warm up. We regroup for range of motion stretching, drills and strides. There’s a few minutes to go to bathroom and take off layers and then we explain and start the running workout. After the workout, we cool down and regroup for strength work and stretching as time allows. Sessions last about 75 minutes.

Saturday Long Runs: For long runs we start from Skinny Raven Downtown. We will put a map out and go based off minutes instead of miles. *New runners- Our goal is to work on getting you used to being on your feet longer. We don’t expect you to run the whole time if you are at that level yet. Work on building up the run walk ratio. Beginners will be starting with 30-45 minutes and work up from there. More experienced runners will start with an hour and build up.

I’m not a runner. Am I too slow?
If you can put one foot in front of the other then no, you’re not too slow! Our groups are ALL-ABILITY LEVELS, coaches will adjust workouts and build up your training through the program.

Can I Switch between AM & PM Sessions?
Definitely, we just ask to get an idea of the group sizes. Feel free to switch between the sessions as needed.
