Locations: Starting October 12th we will be meeting in the Dome for Tuesday running workouts. Saturdays locations will be outside and vary between different trails.

Description: This group is for all-ability levels. We will focus our workouts on strength, tempo and speed work. Practices last 75-90 minutes.

Who is this for?
This group is for EVERYONE! Whether you are a walker, recreational runner, competitive runner or someone new to walking/running that is interested in a community experience.

Accountability. New running friends and people in your pace groups. A place to start for new runners and walkers and a place to grow for those with experience.

How It Works
Follow the link to sign up with RunSignUp. This is a rolling membership. Each month you can renew the membership to continue to attend. Once you sign up you will be included with weekly emails that will include practice locations.

What’s practice like? Weekday workouts: Typical practice starts with showing up and running a few laps to warm up. We regroup for range of motion stretching, drills and strides. There’s a few minutes to go to bathroom and take off layers and then we explain and start the running workout. After the workout, we cool down and regroup for strength work and stretching as time allows. Sessions last about 75 minutes. Saturday Long Runs: For long runs we are focused on getting on our feet for longer. You are not expected to run the whole time. We will meet at different trails and sometimes from Skinny Raven downtown and head out on a run. Amount of time running will vary based on your ability levels.

Our goal is to help athlete reach their training goals, challenge them, and help avoid injuries. We build training plans based on each individual athlete.

Who is this for?
Everyone. If you have a running goal this is for YOU. If you want to go from being more of a walker to a runner. If you want to get faster, run a certain race, run a certain time, work back up after an injury, become consistent with running, or simply have someone that can answer your running and training questions this plan is for YOU!

Benefits
Training is completely dependent on our ability level and your personal goals for running. Experienced coaches will look at the big picture. Creating periodized training. Encouraging you to reach the goals you set.

How It Works
Raven Run Club offers individualized training plans through Training Peaks app. We start by asking the athlete questions about current training, goals, etc. and then they are paired with a coach. The coach will write the training plans. The training plan will be updated through TrainingPeaks weekly. The coach will check in and adjust training plans weekly. Communicating with you via email, call or FaceTime. We adjust things based on how the athlete adjusts, their training age, if they have injuries, how they can balance things with life, etc. Our goal is to help athlete reach their training goals, challenge them, and help avoid injuries. The plan is completely individual to the athlete.

Saturday Long Runs: For long runs we start from Skinny Raven Downtown. We will put a map out and go based off minutes instead of miles. *New runners- Our goal is to work on getting you used to being on your feet longer. We don’t expect you to run the whole time if you are at that level yet. Work on building up the run walk ratio. Beginners will be starting with 30-45 minutes and work up from there. More experienced runners will start with an hour and build up.

I’m not a runner. Am I too slow?
If you can put one foot in front of the other then no, you’re not too slow! Our groups are ALL-ABILITY LEVELS, coaches will adjust workouts and build up your training through the program.

What if I can’t run long? What if I can’t do the whole workout?
Talk to the coaches and we can adjust workouts and help guide you to safer training options.
