This Oktoberfest event is in partnership with 49th State Brewing. We're bringing you a celebration of German culture that'll leave you hopping with joy. From scrumptious pretzels & cheese, savory sausages, and even Turkish doner kebab. Thirsty after all the fun? There's no better way to quench it than with local specialty crafted brews!

What better way to celebrate fall than the traditions of Oktoberfest than a good workout and food and fun with friends.
49th State Oktoberfest
Join 49th State Brewing at their Downtown Anchorage Pub’s Beer Garden to celebrate Oktoberfest the German way on Saturday, September 23rd starting at 4pm.
They’re serving a German food menu, releasing some special beers for the occasion, pouring Oktoberfest Lager by the 1 liter stein (you keep the stein), holding epic competitions like our stein holding contest and weiner toss, plus hosting Alaska Blaskapelle, who will be bringing down the house with traditional German music. This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids to mingle with the Last Frontier Trail Llamas pigs Alaska Potbelly Pig Rescue.
49th State is graciously sharing their event space with us in the morning, so you can celebrate right after you finish or later with their own version of Oktoberfest. DETAILS HERE!

A virtual run/walk is an event that you can complete anytime or anyplace during a specified period! The best part of a virtual event is convenience – you decide what works best for you.
The timeframe to complete your run is September 17th – 14. Get out on the trails or your favorite neighborhood loop and don’t forget to post a selfie on our Facebook Page when you have completed your run. We’d love to see your costumes!
